About EiE EiE is the award-winning curricula division of the Museum of Science, Boston. Our mission is to create a generation of problem solvers. We design STEM learning experiences that surprise, delight, and inspire lifelong learners. We encourage all children, including those from underrepresented and underserved groups, to envision themselves as engineers—scientists, mathematicians, biochemical engineers, computer scientists and so much more. Our PreK-8 STEM curricula is developed with rigorous, research-based design principles and classroom testing to ensure alignment to core subjects and home-school connections. In addition to introducing children to the excitement of hands-on STEM, our units model critical science and engineering practices and infuse 21st century skills like critical thinking, collaboration, communication, creativity, flexibility, and persistence. Our curricula, paired with our professional development services, makes for lifelong learning for both students and teachers. Boston’s Museum of Science has a bold vision to make STEM learning empowering, interactive, accessible—and of course, joyful for learners of all ages.
