Engineering Everywhere® (Grades 6-8) Show learners that they can shape their world Empower middle schoolers to become more effective problem solvers. Engaging units with student-centered engineering activities and easy-to-use lessons, teach students to think critically as they investigate the world around them. Working through challenges, students follow an age-appropriate 8-step Engineering Design Process that gets them thinking like engineers. Engineering Everywhere builds 21st century skills as students learn to collaborate, communicate, think critically and present their findings in an Engineering Showcase. Explore the Units Download Sample Go Virtual with STEM. Get your students ready for the future with virtual learning supported by creative hands-on challenges that promote STEM thinking. Support creative thinking. An age-appropriate 8-step Engineering Design Process, created just for Engineering Everywhere, helps learners work with purpose and pause for reflection. Introduce learners to new career paths. Help students develop key 21st century skills that they’ll need in high school, college, and the workforce. Stopping the spread of a viral outbreak. Creating eco-friendly plastic alternatives. Designing prosthetics for animals in need. Each high-interest challenge asks learners to pose creative solutions to the same problems real engineers face every day.
